  5. Instructions for creating client diskettes
  6.  
  7. 1.   Format 3 high density double-sided diskettes.
  8.  
  9. 2.   Label each diskette with the following names: WSOS2_1,
  10.      WSOS2_2, and WSDRV_1.
  11.  
  12.      Example: At the command line, type
  13.      
  14.                     Label A: WSOS2_1
  15.  
  16. 3.   Insert diskette labelled WSOS2_1 into drive A:.
  17.  
  18. 4.   Change directory to WSOS2_1.
  19.  
  20. 5.   Type the following:
  21.  
  22.                     XCOPY *.* /S /E /V A:
  23.  
  24. 6.   Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the diskettes labelled WSOS2_2 and
  25.      WSDRV_1.
  26.      Ensure that you use the correct directory to copy the
  27.      corresponding files to your labelled diskettes.

  30. If in a none 4.0 environment slowness is experienced, place the following
  31. line in the NET.CFG: "directory services off"

  34. Instructions for installing the OS/2 client
  35.  
  36. 1.   From an OS/2 full screen session, insert the WSOS2_1
  37.      diskette into drive A:. At the command line, type the
  38.      following:

  40.                     A:INSTALL
  41.  
  42.      The OS/2 client install program appears. 
  43.  
  44. 2.   Follow the instructions on the screen.
